What the association's page says
Girls Wrestling page, 2026-27 Girls Wrestling Competition Dates: last day of competition Saturday, January 30, 2027; individual seeding meeting Tuesday, February 2; Individual Wrestling Prelims Friday, February 5, 2027; Semis/Finals Saturday, February 6, 2027. On March 12, 2026 the DIAA Board approved girls wrestling as a Level 3 sanctioned championship sport beginning 2026-27, so this is the first official DIAA girls' state championship. Site not posted ('2027 Event Information' section empty). The boys' individual tournament is February 26-27, 2027.

Past the state final

One rule worth knowing before the series: a girl's legal minimum weight is built on the 19 percent body fat floor, not the boys' 7 percent. How making weight works covers the certification and what your state enforces at the scale, and the weight classes lists every set by level.
