District of Columbia girls' state wrestling championship 2027
District of Columbia runs the girls' championship as its own event. DCSAA has not posted the 2027 date yet, so this page shows the month it is expected in and nothing more.

What the association's page says
DATE TBA. Re-read 2026-09-22: DCSAA runs its girls' event as an invitational, not a titled state championship, and the Girls Wrestling page still shows '2025 DCSAA Girls HS Wrestling Invitational, Saturday, January 10, 2026, Jackson-Reed High School'. The DCSAA Wrestling State Championship (boys page) was Saturday, February 14, 2026 at Jackson-Reed High School. No 2026-27 dates posted.

Past the state final
The careers we have written down start where you are: a state tournament, then a college room, then for a few of them a national team. One rule worth knowing before the series: a girl's legal minimum weight is built on the 19 percent body fat floor, not the boys' 7 percent. How making weight works covers the certification and what your state enforces at the scale, and the girls' and women's weight classes page lists every set by level, with the one each state wrestles.
The season does not end at the state final for a girl who wants more. The national tournaments with a girls' division, from Preseason Nationals in October to Fargo, the Junior and 16U Nationals in July, are on the national calendar for girls and women.
