The qualifying path, from the association's page
Alaska wrestles in the fall, so the 2026-27 season's championship is in December 2026. Wrestling page, State Championship tab: '2026 ASAA/First National Bank Alaska Wrestling State Championships, December 18-19, 2026 at the Alaska Airlines Center, Anchorage', hosted by ASAA and Anchorage School District; last regular-season contest December 12, 2026. The same tab lists '2026 ASAA Wrestling State Championships Girls Qualifiers' beside the DI and DII qualifiers, so girls are a division inside this event.

Past the state final

One rule worth knowing before the series: a girl's legal minimum weight is built on the 19 percent body fat floor, not the boys' 7 percent. How making weight works covers the certification and what your state enforces at the scale, and the weight classes lists every set by level.
