Colorado held its first sanctioned girls' state championships in Pueblo in March 2021. Cosme, a Chatfield junior ranked first in the nation at her age and weight, won the 127-pound title. She beat Sarah Savidge of Doherty 9-3 in the final and finished 20-0. Chatfield won the team title.
She won the Super 32 in October 2021. She made the 2022 U20 World team and wrestled at 59 kg, about 130 pounds, in Sofia, Bulgaria. She lost her opening match 1-1 on criteria to Ebru Dagbasi of Turkey.
