Kylie Rule is from Mineral Point, Wisconsin, and wrestled for Mineral Point High School. Her school's Hall of Fame lists her as a girls' state runner-up in the 2019-20 and 2020-21 seasons, before the WIAA held a girls' state tournament.
The WIAA held its first girls' individual state tournament at the La Crosse Center in January 2022. The junior won the 132-pound title. She pinned Vanessa Skildum of Turner, beat Aevri Ciha of Cambridge 7-1 and beat Madalyn Sokolski of Bonduel 9-0 in the final. She was one of 12 girls to win a title that first season.
In 2023 she won 132 pounds again, pinning Angela Zimmerman of Barron in 1:58 in the final. The Wisconsin Wrestling Coaches Association named her its Female Wrestler of the Year, and the National Wrestling Hall of Fame gave her a Tricia Saunders High School Excellence Award.
At Wartburg College she placed eighth at 130 pounds at the 2024 NCWWC championships as a freshman. As a sophomore she won the conference title at 131 pounds and qualified for nationals again.
In 2025-26 she won the Luther College Open and the conference title and placed second at NCAA Region V. At the first NCAA women's championships in Coralville in March 2026 she was seeded seventh at 138 pounds. She pinned Ragan Retell of East Stroudsburg in 1:55, then lost 11-1 to Claire DiCugno of North Central. She came back through the consolation bracket with wins over Carina Giangeruso of Presbyterian, 14-4, and Ruby Julien-Newsom of King, 10-2. After a loss to Lilly Luft of Iowa, she beat Jacinda Espinosa of Lindenwood 7-2 to place fifth, her second All-American finish.
She is a senior at Wartburg for the 2026-27 season.
