Jaycee Foeller was born on December 11, 2002, and wrestled for De Soto Senior High School in Missouri. As a sophomore in February 2019 she went 35-0 and pinned Josette Partney of Lafayette in 3:48 to win the first girls' 167-pound state championship in Missouri history. State representatives Elaine Gannon and Mike McGirl handed her a Missouri House resolution for it the following Tuesday.
She won again as a junior and again as a senior, and she left high school 121-0. The National Wrestling Hall of Fame gave her the Missouri Tricia Saunders High School Excellence Award in 2021. Her age-group record included a 2018 USMC Cadet national title and a Junior Nationals runner-up finish the same year.
Her college career ran through three programs and four national finals. As a McKendree freshman she was the 2022 NCWWC national runner-up at 191 pounds. She transferred to Central Methodist after a coaching change and finished second at the 2023 NAIA championships at the same weight, going 24-5.
She landed at Iowa for 2023-24 expecting to redshirt. A late rule change cleared her to compete days before she scored the deciding point in a 21-20 win over North Central at the NWCA National Duals. She went 32-7 and was the NCWWC national runner-up again. In 2024-25 she moved up to 207 pounds, went 26-3 with a fastest pin of 11 seconds, won the NCWWC regional and reached a fourth national final. She wrestled a fifth year in 2025-26, finishing 15-6 with seven technical falls, and graduated from Iowa that spring. She is now the interim assistant coach for Wartburg College women's wrestling.
She is the interim assistant coach on Brady Kyner's staff at Wartburg College, the program that won the first NCAA Division III NWCA National Duals title in women's wrestling.
