Emma Moore is from Crittenden, Kentucky, and wrestled for Walton-Verona High School. She began wrestling as a sophomore in the 2023-24 season, the first year the KHSAA sanctioned girls' wrestling.

In February 2024 she won the Region 3 title at 100 pounds at Bryan Station High School in Lexington, 17-8 in the final.

On Feb. 17, 2024, she won the 100-pound title at the first KHSAA girls' state tournament, at Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park. She beat Payton Pomeroy of Pleasure Ridge Park 9-2 in the final. Her match opened the championship round, and LINK nky called her the first Kentucky girls' champion.

As a junior in 2025 she won a regional title at 100 pounds again. At the state tournament she won her first three matches by fall. She then beat Naiya Delos Santos of Taylor County 7-0 in the final for her second straight state title.

She moved up to 107 pounds as a senior. On Feb. 14, 2026, she won the Region 3 title at Robert D. Campbell Junior High School in Winchester. She was Walton-Verona's only regional champion that day, and Peyton Brinkman of Ryle placed second.

At the 2026 state tournament at Alltech Arena at the Kentucky Horse Park, she won her first two matches by fall, the second over Hayley Cappelli of Boyle County. She beat Genevieve Cox of Woodford County 16-1 by technical fall in the semifinals. In the final on Feb. 28 she met Brinkman, whom she had beaten 17-1 by technical fall two weeks earlier. She won 13-5 with four takedowns and an escape for her third straight state title.

She wrestles for Edinboro University, an NCAA Division II program in Pennsylvania.
