Eliana Bommarito wrestled for Hartland High School in Michigan, and graduated in 2022. She won Michigan Wrestling Association girls' state titles in her first three seasons, at 235 pounds as a freshman and 270 pounds the next two years.
In March 2022 the MHSAA held its first girls' state finals, at Ford Field in Detroit. As a senior, she pinned Madasyn Frisbie of Belding in 3:53 in the 255-pound final. The National Wrestling Hall of Fame lists her as the first female wrestler in Michigan to win four state titles. She also won two Junior National freestyle titles in Fargo in high school.
At Indian Hills Community College in Iowa she won 235-pound NJCAA titles in 2023 and 2024, both in finals over teammate Karla Padilla Zepeda. She was the 2023 tournament's Most Outstanding Wrestler and finished her Indian Hills career unbeaten.
In September 2023 in Constanta, Romania, she won the Over 70 kg class, above about 154 pounds, at a Beach World Series event. USA Wrestling called her the first Senior-level American to win a major UWW beach event. The same weekend she became the first American to win U20 Beach World Championships gold. In October she won the Beach World Series Final in Mugla, Turkey.
The Hall of Fame calls her the first American declared a Senior Beach World champion. USA Wrestling says she earned that title in 2023, 2024 and 2025 by scoring the most points in her class in each year's series. In October 2025 she won the series final in Alexandria, Egypt.
She was on Alma College's 2024-25 roster without competing, then joined King University in Tennessee, and wrestled at 207 pounds in 2025-26. In 2026 she won beach golds in Porec, Croatia, and Batumi, Georgia, and silver in Baku, Azerbaijan. She is a graduate student on King University's 2026-27 women's wrestling roster and competes for Team USA in beach wrestling at Over 70 kg.
