Cameron Guerin is from Yakima, Washington, and wrestled for A.C. Davis High School. As a freshman in 2015 she won 115 pounds at Mat Classic, the WIAA state tournament. She won 110 pounds in 2016 and 115 pounds in 2017.

In the summer of 2017 she won the Cadet Pan American title at 52 kg, about 114 pounds, and placed fifth at the Junior World Championships. In February 2018 she beat Mya Spencer of Ephrata 14-0 in the 125-pound final for her fourth girls' state title and a 126-0 high school record.

She then trained at the Olympic Training Center. She won the 2018 Junior Pan American title at 55 kg. In December 2019 she placed third at Senior Nationals to qualify for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials.

At McKendree she won the 130-pound NCWWC title as a freshman in 2021, beating Amanda Martinez of North Central 9-6. That May she won Senior Pan American bronze. In 2022 she repeated without giving up a point and was named Outstanding Wrestler. In 2023 she beat Alexis Janiak of Aurora 9-0 in the final. A 2-1 win over Maria Baez Dilone of King in 2024 made her the third wrestler with four NCWWC titles.

She did not compete in the 2024-25 season and returned in January 2026, more than 20 months after her last win, to take 131 pounds at the NWCA National Duals. Seeded first at the inaugural NCAA Women's Wrestling Championships in March, she met Janiak again in the final. She won 5-5 on criteria for her fifth college national title as McKendree took the team title.

For the Titan Mercury Wrestling Club she placed sixth at 59 kg at the U.S. Open in April. In May she lost 4-3 to Amani Jones, also of Titan Mercury, at the World Team Trials. On May 30 she lost 10-0 to Lucia Yepez of Ecuador at Real American Freestyle's RAF09 in Dallas.

She wrestles senior women's freestyle for the Titan Mercury Wrestling Club and has competed for Real American Freestyle.
