Bella Mir wrestled for Centennial High School in Las Vegas. On February 4 and 5, 2022, in Henderson, she won the 150-pound title at the first girls' state tournament run by the Nevada Interscholastic Activities Association. USA Wrestling lists her as a four-time Nevada state champion. Her father, Frank Mir, is a two-time UFC heavyweight champion.
In 2023 she placed fifth at the U20 World Championships in Amman at 68 kg, about 150 pounds. She wrestled two seasons at Iowa, finishing fifth at 155 pounds at the 2024 National Collegiate Women's Wrestling Championships, then transferred to North Central College in Naperville.
In her first season with the Cardinals she lost the 2025 NCWWC final 6-3 to Macey Kilty of Iowa. That year she was also U.S. Open runner-up, lost the true-third match at Final X, and placed eighth at the U23 World Championships in Novi Sad.
On March 7, 2026, in Coralville, Iowa, Mir won the 145-pound title at the first NCAA women's wrestling championships. She led Reese Larramendy of Iowa 5-0 late in the first period, turned her to her back and pinned her at 2:26. North Central called it the first pin in an NCAA women's final. She finished the season 15-1.
In April 2026 she won the U.S. Open at 68 kg in Las Vegas and qualified for Final X. Her series with Kennedy Blades was postponed, and the World Team place is open.
Mir's college career ended with the March 2026 NCAA title. On August 25 she fought at Dana White's Contender Series and lost to Alex Apodaca. She trains with the Cardinal Wrestling Club in Naperville and ranks in the top two on the U.S. ladder at 68 kg for the 2026-27 season. The postponed Final X series with Kennedy Blades decides the World Championships spot.
