Audrey Jimenez wrestled for Sunnyside High School in Tucson, Arizona. In March 2021, as a freshman, she won the AIA girls' state title at 113 pounds. That July in Budapest she won bronze at the U17 World Championships at 49 kg, about 108 pounds.
She repeated as girls' state champion at 106 pounds in 2022 and at 114 pounds in 2023. In August 2022, at 16, she reached the U20 World final at 50 kg in Sofia and took silver, losing 10-0 to Umi Ito of Japan. In 2023 she won the U.S. Open at 50 kg and met Sarah Hildebrandt at Final X in Newark, losing 8-0 and 11-0. She reached the U20 World final again that August and took U23 World silver in October.
For her senior season she won an appeal to wrestle in the boys' division. On February 17, 2024, in Phoenix, she beat Carson Miles of Peoria Liberty 7-5 in the Division I final at 106 pounds. She became the first girl to win an Arizona state title against boys. Two months later she reached the U.S. Olympic Team Trials final at 50 kg and lost the best-of-three to Hildebrandt.
At Lehigh University in 2025 she won the U.S. Open, Final X and the Pan American Championships at 50 kg, then made three World teams. She took silver at the U20 Worlds in Samokov and lost 6-3 to Emanuela Liuzzi of Italy in her only match at the Senior Worlds in Zagreb. At the U23 Worlds in Novi Sad she took silver again, losing the final 6-2 to Jinyue Liang of China. In Lehigh's first varsity season she went 21-0 at 110 pounds and pinned Sage Mortimer of Grand Valley State in 1:50 for the inaugural NCAA title. She took the tournament's Outstanding Wrestler award and the Anthony-Maroulis Trophy.
She is a junior at Lehigh and ranked No. 1 in the country at 50 kg.
She is a junior at Lehigh University, the reigning NCAA champion at 110 pounds, and No. 1 on the U.S. ladder at 50 kg, training with the Lehigh Valley Wrestling RTC in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
